A few years later, his brother, David Rockefeller, Sr., would form the Trilateral Commission because he was frustrated by the Bilderberg Group’s refusal to include Japan. Having been appoionted the youngest director of the Council on Foreign Relations in 1949, this makes perfect sense. Oh, he also had close ties with the CIA – not that that has any bearing on anything though…
Finally, David Rockefeller, Sr. is credited with having precipitated the Iran Hostage Crisis in 1979. That’s all… nothing too significant here. Oh, and the hostages were released on the same day that Reagan was inaugurated as the 40th President of the United States in 1981, prompting some to speculate that some members of Reagan’s cabinet, chiefly George H. W. Bush, GCB (former Director of the CIA), may have struck a deal with the hostage-takers to hold the hostages until after the 1980 Presidential election. For it was very likely the failure to get the hostages released that lost President Carter the election. You remember Reagan, right? Responsible for the Iran-Contra scandal, Trickle-Down economics, the Savings & Loan crisis, indifference to the HIV-AIDS epidemic, etc.
