We’re gonna find out. Hope you enjoy the ride.

Uh…Miss Nancy? Excuse me…yeah, I know you are very busy……

May 4, 2008

planning the next great big give away to your corporate pals, gonna be hard to top the farm bill that’s for sure, but…well, you see…What with:

Impeachment of the table….

Another 178 Billion for Bush’s excellent adventure….

No action on literally dozens of folks accused of everything from child rape to big time embezzlement to a guy changing legislation after it was sighed by your best pal Mr. Decider…..

Some have made up their minds like this lady:

That it’s time for you to go. Go away where you can no longer damage the Democratic Party, no longer damage our nation, no longer damage our society.

As mah cousin Pat allu sez: ‘Don’t let the door  knob hit ya where the good Lord split ya!’ on your way out.

I’m Sick, Tired and Disgusted….

April 17, 2008

From the ‘Boyz on the Blogz’ naive outrage at how their guy, Barry, was treated in the latest debate, hey lots of us have been saying, ‘Look out the corporatist media is just biding their time and then the ‘Clinton Rules’ will become ‘Barry’s Bylaws’. So it happened and the ‘Big Men’ of the ‘sphere are outraged.

So what?

Due to headache and other issues I will not bore you with I’m gonna play A-Lister and just give you few linkys to play with:

Uh….oh, and I do mean this….. Do you have your two weeks supply of food, water and medicine? Some ammo would not hurt.

But things are just hunkey-dorey in Miss Nancy’s House….. I suggest massive doses of this to make ya feel a bit better.

Well, at least the economy is settly down…rigtht? Right?...Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight?

Looks like Barry might have some work to do on that Unity thingy……. warning if you don’t think there are some
truly enraged White People out there do not clik on this link. And no, don’t blame me. I’ve been listening to this for 45 years.

Why McSame looks so cool, calm and collected as he fumbles question after question…..

Ahnuld nears success in the ‘conservative’ ‘War on Education’ they’ve been waging for 50 years.

RiverDaughter asks, nicely, what do Obamaphiles want?

Hopefully more substance soon. Gonna be writing a lot since the number of sites I’m welcome at is…..heh…heh…shrinking

Res Ipsa Loquitor Neocon Idiots….

September 9, 2007

‘Some say that the neocons don’t care if Iraq is a failure. I doubt that as not to many folks really enjoy being shown to be total incompetents. Of course there are groups who do benefit from our failure in Iraq but at the current time I’m more interested in the American political aristocracy understanding and admitting that The MeatGrinder is an abysmal failure from which we must extricate ourselves from quickly….

Before it gets a whole lot worse.

Doverbitch Speaks for Me….How About You…How Long Are You Intending to Sit on Your Hands?

July 22, 2007

From Hullabaloo:

How would delaying a vote in order to placate the Republicans be any different than “stalling it on partisan grounds?” How long should we stick with a failed policy just to allow the GOP senators time to feel comfortable about doing what’s right for America? How many soldiers should America tolerate sacrificing while GOP senate aides channel their inner-Frank Luntz and write a series of Friday press releases? 100? 200? 1,000?

How many limbs is it OK for our troops to lose while Mitch McConnell figures out how to save face? How many more terrorists should we be OK with breeding in Iraq? How many more billions of dollars should we be willing to spend?

How much deeper should we dig the hole we’re in before the Washington Post decides it’s no longer “irresponsible” for Harry Reid to make life awkward for Bush’s minions?’

The time to speak up is right now. Not next week. Right now. Tips on how to do so here………………

Senator Webb responds to Mr. Bush’s blather….

January 23, 2007

The new Senator from Virginia James Webb gives the democratic, and no that’s not a mistake, response to the latest bag of hot air, spin and lies from our Dear Leader President.

Note: the bold is by me.

Good evening.

I’m Senator Jim Webb, from Virginia, where this year we will celebrate the 400th anniversary of the settlement of Jamestown – an event that marked the first step in the long journey that has made us the greatest and most prosperous nation on earth.

It would not be possible in this short amount of time to actually rebut the President’s message, nor would it be useful. Let me simply say that we in the Democratic Party hope that this administration is serious about improving education and healthcare for all Americans, and addressing such domestic priorities as restoring the vitality of New Orleans.

Further, this is the seventh time the President has mentioned energy independence in his state of the union message, but for the first time this exchange is taking place in a Congress led by the Democratic Party. We are looking for affirmative solutions that will strengthen our nation by freeing us from our dependence on foreign oil, and spurring a wave of entrepreneurial growth in the form of alternate energy programs. We look forward to working with the President and his party to bring about these changes.

There are two areas where our respective parties have largely stood in contradiction, and I want to take a few minutes to address them tonight. The first relates to how we see the health of our economy – how we measure it, and how we ensure that its benefits are properly shared among all Americans. The second regards our foreign policy – how we might bring the war in Iraq to a proper conclusion that will also allow us to continue to fight the war against international terrorism, and to address other strategic concerns that our country faces around the world.

When one looks at the health of our economy, it’s almost as if we are living in two different countries. Some say that things have never been better. The stock market is at an all-time high, and so are corporate profits. But these benefits are not being fairly shared. When I graduated from college, the average corporate CEO made 20 times what the average worker did; today, it’s nearly 400 times. In other words, it takes the average worker more than a year to make the money that his or her boss makes in one day.

Senator Feingold sticks it to ‘Abu’ Gonzales.

January 19, 2007

And I stand corrected by a fellow lurker at dKos. ‘Abu’ Gonzales is more than a ‘miserable little shit’ as I have characterized him. He’s a dangerous fascist who is doing everything in his power to subvert our democracy at the bidding of the sockpuppet Bush who in turn works for the invisible conspiracy financial interests, military Keynesians and the trans-national corporate hegemony intent on making us all compliant members of The Corporate Slave State. Feingold’s questioning here clearly reveals that fact.

Note that ‘Abu’ using the Bush Cult’s favorite tautological argument ‘some say’ tries to smear bloggers and Democrats with the ‘they don’t want us to listen in to the terrorists’ meme. Utter bullshit as anyone with more than a blastocysts amount of functioning brain cells knows. Of course, ‘Abu’ is trying to use this as ‘dog-whistle’ to the low-information voters his boss has relied on for many years to shore up his inept, criminal administration. I guess ‘Abu’ didn’t get the memo about this.

There aren’t any low-information voters on this issue any more and as the Democrats continue to hammer at ‘Abu’ support for him getting the chop will grow.

‘Abu’s pathetic closing statement, which Feingold kicked to the curb, about keeping the American people ‘safe’ shows that this cabal of fascists has run out their string. They’re still gonna try to wave the bloody shirt of 9/11.

Well, ‘Abu’, Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney you just keep doing that from the bottom of the very deep hole you’ve dug for yourselves as we progressives shovel the dirt in on you.
